Our recommendation

Which trek is right for you?

Honest answers to the questions I get asked most often on WhatsApp. No upsell — just the routes I would actually recommend based on what you tell me.

“I’ve never done anything like this. Where do I start?”
Mardi Himal. Not Poon Hill — Mardi. It’s the trail I know because I’ve walked every section myself. It gives you real altitude, real mountain views, real teahouse culture. It’s genuinely achievable for someone who hikes in the UK at weekends, and it will change what you think is possible.

“I’ve done Kilimanjaro. What should I do in Nepal?”
Annapurna Circuit. If Kilimanjaro gave you altitude confidence, the Circuit is the next logical step. Two weeks of the most varied landscape in the Himalaya — two weeks of the most varied landscape in the Himalaya, the Thorong La pass at 5,416m, and the knowledge that you walked the route most people only read about.

“I want somewhere most tourists never go.”
Nar-Phu Valley. Most Nepal operators don’t offer it — the permit is restricted and the logistics are harder. We do. Combine it with the Annapurna Circuit for three weeks that very few people have completed. The permit limits daily arrivals: you will often have the trail entirely to yourself.

Take it easy.
Embrace Nepal.

The trails are the reason most people come. But Nepal holds itself back from you until you slow down. A few extra days — sitting above the clouds in Pokhara, wandering the medieval courtyards of Bhaktapur, watching rhinos at dusk in Chitwan or finding a cafe in Dharan where nobody goes — is where Nepal actually introduces itself.

These four regions each have their own pace, their own personality, their own reasons to stay longer. Every one of them has been explored by the people behind this site. Browse what’s possible in each, then add what interests you to your bucket list.

Near Pokhara · Personal recommendation
Ghandruk — on top of the world, at your own pace.

An hour from Pokhara by road and a gentle walk up, Ghandruk sits under the full Annapurna range with no altitude pressure and no itinerary. Traditional stone houses, Gurung culture, small trails in every direction and a view that takes the rest of the world away. If you’re in Pokhara and want a day — or three — that stays with you, Ghandruk is where you go. It has been walked by the people behind this company. We know exactly what it offers.

For Inspiration Only

A Complete
Nepal Journey.

This is one version of how 14 days in Nepal might look. Yours will be built entirely around you — your fitness, your interests, your dates. This is just what's possible.

Days 1–2
Kathmandu
Arrive, recover from the flight, explore the Kathmandu Valley. Swayambhunath, Boudhanath Stupa, the medieval streets of Bhaktapur. Pre-trek briefing with Nischal.
Days 3–10
The Mountains
Your chosen trek. Teahouses, local guides, high altitude, real trail signs. Eight days for a mid-range route like Mardi Himal or Ghorepani, or 12+ for EBC and the Himalayan Giants.
Days 11–12
Pokhara
The lakeside city below the Annapurna range. Rest, proper food, a hot shower that feels like a miracle. Phewa Lake at dawn. Paragliding if your legs are ready. Massage if they are not.
Days 13–14
Chitwan
Optional add-on — or fly directly home. Chitwan National Park is Nepal's other face: UNESCO jungle, one-horned rhinos, tigers. A different country within the same trip.
